Data sharing agreements are a critical foundational element of any data governance program. This Sprint will explore the mechanics of developing a data-sharing agreement, with emphasis on stakeholder engagement, inclusion, use, and sustainability. At the end of this course, you will develop a draft data sharing agreement that can be used in your organization.

This Sprint is designed to provide valuable information to civil service professions involved in data sharing agreement development and use. Learners who are involved in collaborating with other agencies will learn to leverage data to better inform decisions about data sharing. Participants will be expected to review provided reading materials and videos prior to the live sessions and complete the relevant assignments to assist in the development of a draft data sharing agreement.
