This online, instructor-facilitated 4-week course developed by the Center for Civic Impact at Johns Hopkins University will teach you to recognize the components of data quality, identify common quality issues, and learn methods and practices for improving data quality. In addition, we will discuss the necessary building blocks, use cases, and methods for evaluating and employing effective data standards.

By the end of this course, you will be able to:
- Recognize common data quality issues
- Explore government datasets for common data quality issues
- employ popular data standards
- Improving data quality and implementing data standards
